STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING 

All varsity student-athletes have the privilege of using the Athletic Centre and the variety of training facilities and equipment. Safe, effective and consistent athletic training is integral to the success of any varsity sport program.  Strength and Conditioning Programs will be developed by Garth Myles for each team and or their individuals and are funded by each athlete’s varsity participation fee.  Team coaches will be responsible for the communication and organization of team training programs.

 

There are a number of rules and regulations which are posted in the fitness centre which must be followed for your safety and the safety of other athletes.  It is critical that all athletes report to their first practice session in excellent shape. As a result, we encourage year-round training and regular use of the Athletic Centre facilities.
