Trent University setter Ian Rettie reached a milestone Saturday as he surpassed the record for most career service aces. With 45 aces this season Rettie leads the league and with two matches remaining in the regular season he looks to add a few more to his total. The record of 121 aces was formerly held by Jazmin Cull of Mohawk College. Rettie currently has 123.

Strong performances by Sarah Rettie and Jen Lenis helped secure the win.
The men's match was a much different story but the same ending as the women's match. After dominating Cambrian 25-10 in the first set Trent faltered in the next two sets to be down 2-1. Trent rallied in the fourth set and fifth sets to take the match and take first place overall in the division. Ben Cambridge was top scorer for Cambrian with 20 points. Trent middle blocker T.J. Rodin was top performer with 17 points.
