Sport Kawartha is hosting a basketball clinic, led by Greg Francis, recently hired head Coach of the CIS Waterloo Warriors and Assistant Coach of the Canadian Men’s National Basketball team, on Saturday, July 7 at the Trent Athletics Centre.

The focus will be on the development of offensive skills. Greg will concentrate on three key elements – separation, penetration and footwork skills. 

This clinic will be of special interest to any basketball coach (or those considering coaching), and players wanting to understand ways to improve their offensive skills. In fact, anyone who might be curious to understand further some of these skills of the game should consider registering. 

Sport Kawartha is sponsoring this seminar with support from the City of Peterborough. The clinic will run from 2-4:30pm Saturday, July 7 at the Trent Athletics Centre and involves classroom and on-court training. 

Cost is $15, for Sport Kawartha members and $20 for non-members.
