2010 Tryouts

Peter Carter, Head Coach Women’s Varsity Volleyball, invites all players interested in playing Varsity Volleyball in 2010 to attend open tryouts for the Women’s Varsity Team on Monday, September 13th (6-8pm), Wednesday, September 15th (8-10pm) and Thursday, September 16th (8-10pm). Players selected from the first week of tryouts will be invited to attend the second week of tryouts.

New student-athletes are encouraged fill out the online recruitment form (http://www.trentvarsity.ca/join_team.php) in advance of tryouts. Please email Peter Carter cartsie@hotmail.com regarding any questions or for additional information.

Trent Hosts 2010 CIS Women's Rugby Championships

Trent University will be hosting the national women’s rugby championships in 2010 and 2011.

The 2010 championships will take place from November 4 - 7 and will feature the best women’s rugby athletes in Canadian universities, with a total of six teams representing the Atlantic provinces, western Canada, Quebec, and Ontario, including Trent.

Lacrosse Try-Outs for 2010

Trent University's Men's Lacrosse Team will host their Open Try-Outs for the 2010 season, beginning August 28th and 29th, and following on September 4th & 5th. The Camp will conclude and the final roster will be announced following a pre-season game with Wilfred Laurier on September 9th, 2010.

The Try-Outs are open to all and will begin each day at 11am to 1pm. There will then be a break for a team lunch and then scrimmage from 2-4pm.

Players are encouraged to bring full equipment with both turf cleats and running shoes.
