Trent Athletics Hosts National Coaching Course
Registration now open for May 6 and 7 NCCP Competition A Course
Trent Athletics will host a National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Competition: Introduction Part A course on May 6 and 7, 2011 at the Trent Community Sport & Recreation Centre (TCSRC). The course, which is suitable for coaches in sports at all competitive levels and all ages, is open to all coaches and interested members of the community.

Friday May 6, 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm AND Saturday May 7, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

$100/person + HST (includes course materials)

Introduction to Competition A helps coaches understand why athletes participate in sport and prepares them to teach skills and to design a safe, enjoyable and challenging practice. Course modules include Making Ethical Decisions, Planning a Practice and Nutrition.Registration is now open!
Register online at www.trentu.ca/athletics. Click the "Register Now" button on the Athletics main page, choose the "Programs" tab at the top then "Advanced Search" option, enter NCCP in the "keyword" field and the course will appear for registration.
Register In person at the TCSRC any time Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
