Tuters Rows to Fourth at Worlds

 

Jennifer Tuters, a member of both the Trent University and Peterborough Rowing clubs, earned a fourth-place finish with her eight's team at the

world rowing under-23 championships in Brandenburg, Germany yesterday.

The 22-year-old native of Port Hope and her Team Canada teammates finished in 6:46.22.

 

The U. S won the gold in 6:36.01; Poland finished second in 6:39.72 and Belarus was third in 6:43.35. Team Canada's men's team won silver in

5:53.30, trailing the U. S. at 5:49.42.
