PSB Wilson

Some people are larger than life, and the effect they have on the people and places they touch is so profound that they can never be forgotten. Paul Wilson is such a person. He was the founding director of Trent Athletics and Recreation, serving from 1966 to 2002. He was the heart and soul of sport at the university and ensured the successful core values of “Sport for All”.

He is, without a doubt, one of Trent’s greatest and best known ambassadors.


In 2002, upon his retirement, PSB Wilson achieved the unprecedented honour of being awarded both the Symons Award for Excellence in Teaching and the Eminent Service Award.
