The Excalibur men's and women's varsity volleyball teams are strong contenders in the OCAA East Conference, having raised their level of competition to consistently move up in the OCAA rankings each year. Varsity volleyball players also contribute greatly to the Trent experience providing excitement and enjoyment for student, faculty, and community fans throughout the competitive season.

Trent University provides varsity volleyball players with daily training access to indoor and outdoor volleyball training facilities. Throughout the year, team members have full access to all the training facilities and equipment within the on-campus Athletics Complex, including weight rooms, cardio rooms, and indoor gym space for varsity training. In the off-season, varsity athletes are able to keep in top shape through the use of our expanded facilities, which include two beach volleyball courts. Here, athletes can train and work on their game while enjoying the weather and sights of Trent's picturesque campus located on the banks of the Otonabee river.
