Trent Athletics is proud to announce the recipients of the inaugural Student-Athletes of the Month award for September 2024. This award celebrates the outstanding athletic performances by our student-athletes over the course of the month. 

The Male Student-Athlete of the Month is Warren Chambers (Scarborough, ON) from the men's soccer team.  

In the first month of the season, the rookie forward made an immediate impact for the Excalibur, scoring four goals in his six games played. One of his tallies earned second-place honours in the OUA Plays of the Week during week 6. 

Chambers is a first-year student-athlete in the Department of Kinesiology. 

The Female Student-Athlete of the Month is Victoria Ivey-Town (Peterborough, ON) from the women's soccer team. 

As the goalkeeper for the Excalibur women's soccer team, Ivey-Town made 48 saves in her eight games played during September. She also recorded a clean sheet on September 22 in the Excalibur's 3-0 victory at Laurentian.  

Ivey-Town is a third-year student-athlete in the Teachers Education Stream.
