The Trent Excalibur men's lacrosse team (8-2) is set for an exciting start to the Canadian University Field Lacrosse (CUFLA) postsseason, hosting the Carleton Ravens (3-7) this Saturday, November 1 at 1 p.m. at Justin Chiu Stadium.

After finishing second in the CUFLA East Division behind McGill, Trent enters the weekend with momentum and a chance to secure a spot in the 2025 Baggataway Cup Championships, which will take place November 7–9 at Terry Fox Stadium in Brampton.

Three teams from the East and three from the West will advance to the national championship tournament.

Saturday's matchup continues the growing rivalry between Trent and Carleton. The two teams split their regular-season series this year, with Carleton claiming a 9–6 win at home in September before the Excalibur responded with a 7–3 victory on home turf in October. Historically, Trent has held the advantage, winning eight of the last ten meetings dating back to 2017.

Faceoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Justin Chiu Stadium this Saturday.

Fans of all ages are encouraged to come out and be part of the atmosphere as the Excalibur continue their push toward the Baggataway Cup. Admission to home games is $10, while children 12 and under get in free. Trent students enjoy free entry to all home games with a valid student card. For those who can't make it to the stadium, the game will also be livestreamed on the Excalibur YouTube Channel.
