A new chapter of Excalibur women's volleyball begins this fall as the team announces its 2026-27 regular season schedule, marking the start of a new era under head coach Rebecca Van Staalduinen. 

The Excalibur will open their home schedule on Saturday, November 7, welcoming the Waterloo Warriors to the Trent Athletics Centre for a 2 p.m. matchup. 

As the team prepares for the upcoming Ontario University Athletics (OUA) season, Van Staalduinen will lead the Excalibur through a competitive schedule featuring matchups against some of the province's top programs. 

Trent will welcome the RMC Paladins for a pair of home matches on Friday, January 29 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, January 30 at 2 p.m. The Excalibur will look to continue their success against RMC after earning victories in both of their home matchups against the Paladins last season. 

The Excalibur will close out the 2026-27 regular season at home on Saturday, February 6, hosting the Nipissing Lakers at 2 p.m. The match will also serve as Senior's Game, celebrating the graduating members of the team and recognizing their contributions to the green and white. 

With a new season ahead and a new leader at the helm, the Excalibur are ready to take the court and continue building the future of Trent women's volleyball.

Ticket information:  

Game Day Tickets: $10 per game, available at the gate.   

Trent Students: Free admission to all regular season games with a valid TrentU student card.   

Children 12 and Under: Free admission when accompanied by an adult or guardian.   

All spectators aged 13 and older must have a valid ticket for any regular or postseason varsity event.
